Penn Emblem Co., Philadelphia, recently announced that Burl Cohen, a former regional sales manager for the company, has passed away.
Cohen worked at Penn Emblem from 1990 to 2000, and again from 2013 to 2015. During his service, he covered Australasia and New Zealand. A veteran in the textile services industry, Cohen had more than 40 years of experience as an operator and supplier.
Cohen was remembered fondly by his coworkers. “Burl managed all of Penn Emblem’s international business in Australia and New Zealand,” says Randi Blumenthal-Joseph, owner and president, Penn Emblem Co. “He brought Penn Emblem Co.’s relationships and products to these areas of the world and was always successful in growing the business due to his hard work and dedication.” — J.L.
