Hirsch Solutions, Huntersville, N.C., has released a statement to customers informing them about operational adjustments that were made in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In an emailed update, Kris Janowski, president, Hirsch Solutions, stated:
“We are closely following the Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) recommendations on the steps we should take to help prevent the spread of this virus.
Our main priority is the safety of our team members, customers and the communities we live in. To support this priority, to date we have:
• Directed all team members, including those who interact with customers, to take appropriate preventative measures as recommended by the CDC.
• Deferred all travel for team members with the exception of essential business needs.
• Suspended outside sales calls.
• Taken steps to enable team members who do not feel well to stay home, recover, and avoid interacting with other team members and customers.
Our next priority is to strive to continue to provide our customers the products, services and support they expect from us.
• Hirsch is continuing “normal” operations, while practicing social distancing, for as long as it remains safe to do so.
• Our distribution center is open to ship parts and equipment, our technical support team will be performing remote diagnosis with video conferencing and our customer support team will help guide you appropriately.
• Several of our offices, including those in California and New York, are now closed with their respective team members working remotely.
• Our North Carolina Solution Studio is operational and will remain so for as long as it remains safe to do so. Our full Studio team is also equipped to work remotely should that become necessary.
We anticipate that as the situation evolves your needs may change as well. Please know that the Hirsch team is prepared to help you address those challenges. We encourage you to reach out to your local account manager or our customer service department for assistance. Together, we’ll manage through this unprecedented situation.”
