InkSoft, Albuquerque, N.M., has made 12 additions and improvements to its company-generated packing slips.
Based on feedback from the InkSoft Advisor Group, the enhancements range from more data inclusion and clearer presentation of basic information to more user-friendly formatting.
Additions include a due date; an email address in the billing and shipping sections; a new gift message, special instructions and design notes per line item section; as well as a product image for picking/packing ease. The date format has been changed to eliminate month/year confusion; there is a new format for the product list; and SKU, quantity, size and color have been given greater prominence.
In addition, text sizes and bolding have been reworked to focus attention on important packing slip details. Other formatting changes include an expanded area to include up to two images, which default from front to back. Also, names and numbers will display as a list below the quantity, size and color of each line item.
