Towel Specialties, Baltimore, launched its Cobblestone Mills division this month, which includes blankets and Turkish robes.
The blankets can be embroidered or decorated with screen printing and multicolor edge-to-edge Colorfusion. Cobblestone Mills also circulates a catalog to accompany its website.
“This launch has been in the works for well over a year as we built this line from the ground up,” says Shawn Kanak, vice president of sales. “We experienced great success when we expanded our blanket and robe gift collection in recent years. So we tried to identify voids in the market in these categories and our decorating techniques — areas where there simply weren’t many options. As a result, we meet this need with a lineup of quality products built to sustain. Our Cobblestone brand really speaks to the endurance and time-honored craftsmanship we put into every product — two important considerations for buyers deciding what products should carry their logo.” — M.Q.
