Workhorse Offers Web Portal Automatic Press Remote Access
Workhorse Products, Phoenix, now offers automatic press remote access through a web portal, which allows owners and production managers to track production and jobs on all automatic presses in real time from any Internet browser.
The web portal is linked to the control panel tablet and displays jobs that are in the queue, in production, paused and finished. For each viewable job, all of the changeable specifications are available, including artwork, number of colors, print and flood strokes, ink type, indexing, flashing and total finished prints.
A manager can set up jobs, monitor progress, troubleshoot problems and check maintenance status for an unlimited number of Workhorse presses and jobs. This service comes with the purchase of any Workhorse automatic press.— D.S.
