Poly-Pro Twill

Poly-Pro Twill, now offered by Dalco Athletics, is a premium appliqué material designed for creating professional mascots, lettering and numbers for baseball, basketball, football and hockey. At a 9-ounce-per-square-yard weight, it has a tight weave that resists abrasion and an anti-fray coating to prevent unraveling. It features multiple adhesive coatings, which lubricate the sewing needle, preventing skipped stitching and thread breakage. The adhesive retains a strong bond in temperatures ranging from 290°F-330°F. It comes with heat-seal adhesive or an uncoated version, which has no adhesive. A pressure-sensitive type comes with a heavy paper lining to enable it to be used with a vinyl cutter.
