Apparel Industry Helping Wildfire Victims

As wildfires continue to rage in the Los Angeles area, the decorated-apparel industry and a wide range of nonprofits is stepping up to help those in need.

In recent days, New York-based sports apparel and commerce company Fanatics began partnering partnered with a number of LA sports teams to support the city in it time of need via a newly unveiled “LA Strong” collection, with proceeds going to the American Red Cross and the LA Fire Department Foundation. Similarly, blank apparel manufacturer BELLA+CANVAS launched a community clothing drive to provide essential relief to those in need. (Click here for details), while Los Angeles Apparel has been offering free giveaways of “T-shirts, socks and other essentials” out of its factory store.

Care Closet LBC, an award-winning nonprofit devoted to helping out the homeless in the Long Beach area and a partner of the Ink Kitchen, has also been helping raise funds for wildfire victims.
