Brother DTG, a division of Brother Intl. Corp., Bridgewater, N.J., has released Insight Lab, a new printer management software for GTX and GTXpro digital direct-to-garment (DTG) printers.
The new software gives users the ability to manage multiple machines through a comprehensive display detailing all status and ink levels.
The program monitors the ink inside the printer’s pouches. When the ink reaches a predefined level set by the user, the software sends an email informing which pouch is low. By clicking a link, a new ink pouch is added to users’ shopping cart in the Brother Partner Portal and is ready to be ordered.
You can now skip the daily chore of checking ink levels knowing that you will be automatically notified and reorder in plenty of time to avoid machine downtime, according to the company.
