Per the global market-research firm Repot Prime the global direct-to-garment (DTG) printing machine market is expected to grow $710 million by 2030.
FULL STORYBrother DTG, a division of Brother Intl. Corp., Bridgewater, N.J., now offers a new educational page on its website, featuring videos and step-by-step tutorials on the cap-printing process.
The new informational page covers everything from pretreating and loading, to using the platen template or AccuLine Camera System to position the artwork, and printing and curing. It also instructs on the basics of headwear decorating via direct-to-garment (DTG) printing.
Other features include the Brother DTG printers’ large print head-to-substrate gap, which allows printing from the top of the crown to the bill, including over the seam, on most hats. A targeted look at what it takes to print a structured cap also is available.
