FULL STORYInkSoft, Tempe, Ariz., recently released a new blog presenting a case study of how Spalding, the world’s largest basketball equipment manufacturer, met its customers’ needs for personalization using InkSoft technology and software.
Spalding partnered with InkSoft to create U Design, a custom basketball platform on its Salesforce Commerce Cloud e-commerce site. It allows customers to create a custom Spalding basketball with official NBA team logos, throwback logos and personal text online. In addition, InkSoft used its technology to ensure orders were created and shipped in one to two business days, according to the company.
New designs include WNBA team logos and NBA G League team logos. U Design also is available on Spalding’s B2B e-commerce site, which is built on the Salesforce Community Cloud, where coaches can upload team logos and artwork to be lasered across up to two panels on a basketball.
