FULL STORYRoland DGA Corp., Irvine, Calif., has released the VersaSTUDIO BT-12 direct-to-garment (DTG) desktop printer, compatible with printing directly on cotton-based products.
The new VersaSTUDIO BT-12 makes printing directly on cotton apparel and accessories easy, efficient and cost-effective, according to the company. Users can print full-color graphics, including photos, logos and text, directly on T-shirts, tote-bags, interior décor items and more.
Measuring 15.7″ x 29.9″, the BT-12 footprint includes a finishing unit stacked with the printer unit, reducing the installation space typically required for a traditional DTG printer and finishing-unit combination. Roland design software also is included.
“Roland has been a key player in the production of graphics for custom apparel and fabric goods for many years,” says Lily Hunter, Roland DGA product manager, textiles and consumable supplies. “The addition of the BT-12 to our product line satisfies growing demand for a compact, value-packed direct-to-garment printer that offers outstanding performance alongside the benefits of Roland’s renowned customer service and support.” — D.S.
