Roland Releases DTG Printer for On-Demand Personalization

January 30, 2019

Roland DGA Corp., Irvine, Calif., has released the VersaSTUDIO BT-12, a direct-to-garment (DTG) desktop printer ideal for printing directly on cotton-based products.

The BT-12 can print full-color graphics, including photos, logos and text, directly on T-shirts, tote bags, interior décor items and more. Its footprint measures 15.7″ x 29.9″ and includes a finishing unit stacked with the printer unit, which reduces the installation space that typically is required for a traditional DTG printer and finishing unit combination. Roland Design Software also is included.

“Roland has been a key player in the production of graphics for custom apparel and fabric goods for many years,” says Lily Hunter, Roland DGA product manager of textiles and consumable supplies. “The addition of the BT-12 to our product line satisfies growing demand for a compact, value-packed direct-to-garment printer that offers outstanding performance alongside the benefits of Roland’s renowned customer service and support.”
