Stahls’ Offers Combining Embroidery with Digital Transfers Video
Stahls’, Sterling Heights, Mich., recently released “Embroidery with Digital Transfers,” a new installment in its “Get the Look” video series.
In the tutorial, shown above, a CAD-PRINTZ Perma-TWILL digital transfer is used to achieve the look of appliqué without the lengthy sewing time. Then, the sew file creates the stitch design outline for transfer placement. The back is sprayed with adhesive and positioned within the outline, and the transfer is then sewn down with a zigzag stitch. — D.S.
