Monarch Color Corp., Charlotte, N.C., has launched a new series of LED-cured offset inks, which already have been installed successfully across multiple offset printing platforms.
“The performance [of these inks] has exceeded all expectations for cure speed,” says Jerry Woodall, vice president, Monarch Color Corp. “Our new LED-cured offset inks have reached speeds in excess of 14,000 impressions per hour.”
The company has tailored these systems to match the wattage output of the various LED units on the market. — J.L.
