The Michigan-based screen-printing T-shirt and apparel decorator Transfigure Print Co. not only specializes in LGBTQIA+ inclusive prints and apparel, it also prides itself on supporting Trans and Queer people, businesses and social outreach in general. Always looking for ways to give back to the community, Transfigure has raised more than $80,000 since beginning its fundraising efforts in 2019. At the same time, founder Bailey Sell has grown the shop, which he started in his living room, to where it is now collaborating with such businesses and organizations as Bombas Socks, Ghirardelli and Boss Dog Art Dept. Every month, Transfigure donates 10 percent of its sales to a growing list of organizations focusing on Trans and Queer lives. In addition to supporting LGBTQIA+ centric organizations, Transfigure also donates directly to Trans individuals by way of its Transfigure Trans Fund program. Each donation Transfigure receives is deposited directly into the fund with at least one item from the company’s shop generating funding each month as well. At the end of the month, one or more applicants are randomly selected, and the funds dispersed in full through a GoFundMe account. With the Transfigure Trans Fund, the company has provided aid for gender-affirming surgeries, accessories, supplies and more.
