Bottom heated platens now offered by Geo Knight & Co. Inc. are available on all current digital swing-away and clamshell presses. The separately controlled heat pedestal slides into the position at which the standard table is located. The bottom heat platens remove any heat-scorching or heat-stamping effects when applying transfers. Double-sided sublimation pressing of various materials is produced twice as fast and more consistently with the platens, according to the company.
