Floriani Software has added the Appli-Stitch tool to its Total Control embroidery digitizing software program. Appli-Stitch is designed to work with Appli-Stitch Designs & Fabric, a new material that allows embroiderers to sew an appliqué shape and easily tear away the excess material, eliminating the need for cutting or positioning the fabric. With Appli-Stitch, the software automatically creates the placement and trapping stitches, as well as the satin stitch border needed to perforate the Appli-Stitch material. There are 10 collections collections of Appli-Stitch designs ready to use, but original designs also can be created.
