American Embroidery Supply offers RinseAway, an embroidery topping designed to keep stitches from sinking into fluffy, plush or ribbed fabrics. The 20-micron film is hooped on top of the garment and ensures that stitches look crisp, have great registration and are visible, according to the company. Once the embroidery is finished, the excess topping can be pulled away, and remnants can be removed with a moistened paper towel, damp sponge or steamer. The topping comes on rolls in four sizes: 5” x 10 yards, 10” x 110 yards, 40” x 110 yards, and 40” by 550 yards.
