International Coatings Co. introduces its AXEON Reflective 1505 direct print ink. It enhances a printed design’s visibility in low-light situations when exposed to a direct light source, according to the company. AXEON Reflective 1505 contains microscopic glass beads that reflect light, thus enhancing brightness. The retro-reflectivity of the product is best displayed when a garment printed with an AXEON Reflective ink is exposed to a focused beam of light, such as that from a flashlight or an automobile headlight. This ink can be printed directly on a variety of substrates, including cotton, 50/50 fabrics and some nylons.
