International Coatings Co. has added two new metallic shimmers — Silver Shimmer 1856 and Gold Shimmer 1857 — to its AXEON line of non-PVC, non-phthalate inks. The new colors add a bright, non-tarnishing metallic sparkle to printed garments. The inks contain fine, shimmering glitter flakes in a non-PVC, easy-to-print base that performs well on automatic and manual screen-printing presses, according to the company. The AXEON shimmers print like traditional plastisols and can be used on light or dark fabrics.
