Alstyle Apparel & Activewear, Anaheim, Calif., is donating all of the T-shirts for the teams participating in the CANstruction 2014 competition, to be held Aug. 21 in Long Beach, Calif.
Alstyle has donated two styles in five different colors to the event, during which canned goods will be given to Food Finders, a local nonprofit organization that helps feed impoverished families, children and elderly in the Long Beach community.
The competition will take place at the Mercedes Benz of Long Beach dealership showroom. Local architectural and engineering firms will gather to build unique structures entirely out of canned goods, totaling more than 7,000 pounds.
