Azon Introduces New Wide-Format Machine

Published: October 30, 2015

Azon, Zagrevb, Croatia, has introduced Mason, its newest generation of wide-format UV LED machines.

Mason can print on a wide range of materials with a maximum thickness of 4 inches. The machine features specially designed bulk ink tanks with ink-monitoring sensors designed to increase its printing capacity.

Also, unlike the previous generation of printers with belt systems, this machine features a servomotor and ball-screw system, enabling the forward-backward movement of the printed object with maximum accuracy, according to the company.

A Conti upgrade also is available, featuring single-pass printing technology in CMYK and white color that produces crisp text and vibrant, full-color images on a variety of substrates and 3-D objects, from wood to canvas, ceramic tiles, plastics and more.

Additionally, the new Azon RIP software enables 1,1440 dpi reproduction quality and fine image details, according to the company.
