Azonprinter, Croatia, recently introduced RAZOR to its UV flatbed printer line.
The new printer combines Azonprinter’s printing technology with a stronger, faster and more powerful LED curing system, according to the company. The long-lasting, energy-efficient UV LED lamp generates low levels of heat for printing directly on a wide range of surfaces and 3-D objects. At 13 inches wide, RAZOR can print directly onto PET, ABS, polycarbonate, TPU, wood, leather and other soft materials up to almost 8 inches in height.
Advanced print head technology ensures photo quality input of up to 1,440 x 5,760 dpi and an auto-adjustable distance mode is specially designed for printing around the surface of the curved objects. The printer features a total of seven automatic modes.
The RAZOR features AZON UV ink in CMYK, white and varnish, along with premium varnishing and embossing effects. Varnish or gloss AZON UV ink can be layered into interesting patterns and textures in both gloss and matte finishes. Additionally, a fully enclosed system enables the machine to stay clean from dust and debris.
