ColDesi, a leading provider of digital garment decoration equipment, has announced an upgrade to its popular DTF-12H2 direct-to-film (DTF) printer, introducing a new expanded CMYKOG color system that significantly increases the printer’s color capabilities for apparel decorators.
According to ColDesi, the upgraded system now includes orange and green inks in addition to traditional CMYK and White, expanding the printer’s color gamut by 27 percent and enabling it to reproduce approximately 100,000 more printable colors than previous models. The result is brighter graphics, smoother gradients, and improved color accuracy for custom apparel, branded merchandise and other decorated products.
DTF Printer Combines Compact Footprint, Ease-of-Use
“The ColDesi DTF-12H2 has already earned a strong reputation among apparel businesses for its reliability, compact footprint, and ease of use,” the company said, adding that with the addition of the expanded color system, the printer now delivers even greater capability while maintaining the same approachable workflow that makes it popular with both startup and established print shops.

Designed as a compact commercial production system, the DTF-12H2 allows apparel businesses to produce vibrant transfers that can be applied to cotton, polyester, blends, and performance fabrics. The printer features dual print heads, a 12-inch print width, and production speeds capable of producing approximately 50 transfers per hour.
