In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Cubavera, a division of Perry Ellis Intl. Inc., Miami, sponsored a fashion presentation on Sept. 19.
The event, which was held at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County (Ziff Ballet Opera House), showcased Cubavera’s spring 2014 collection. Celebrity guests Zuleyka Rivera, telenovela star and Miss Universe 2006, and celebrity stylist Irma Martinez, hosted the event, which also featured a live performance by AXIS Band, ballet performances and an audio-visual tribute to Latin culture.
Additionally, attendees got a sneak peek of Designed with Love by Stephanie, a new fashion leggings collection for C&C California apparel.
Event sponsors included Ocean Drive magazine, Barton G., Bacardi, the Miami International University of Art and Design, AXIS Band, Adrienne Arsht Center and Cubavera.
