Edwards Garment, Kalamazoo, Mich., has acquired Vancouver, British Columbia-based Bishop Custom Clothing.
The acquisition of the 20-plus-year-old company will strengthen Edwards Garment’s position to provide a better assortment of career apparel products and services, according to the company.

The combination of our two unique companies creates a wider and more dynamic product offering to support large uniform programs. Both companies provide career apparel and we share a similar vision and business focus.”
Bishop Custom Clothing’s office will remain in Vancouver with Norm Bishop, the company’s president, continuing his involvement.
