Graphic Solutions Group, Dallas, is offering two free classes at its headquarters in December.
The first class, to be held Dec. 13, will be taught by Liz Beavers, who is an embroidery industry innovator with more than 25 years of experience in commercial machine sales, production and education, according to the company.
The class will review the best practices to use for embroidery production, including how to achieve higher efficiency and better quality through good work habits. Attendees will learn how to present and sell embroidery services, and how to embroider on a wide range fabrics and materials, such as leather. The class also will cover strategies for profitable pricing.
Chuck Maulsby will teach the second free class, to be held Dec. 14. Called “Screen Printing 101,” the class will cover the basics of screen making, including emulsions, how to use an exposure calculator and screen coating techniques. Attendees also will learn about inks and special effects.
