Published: October 18, 2019

Great Dane Graphics, Mandeville, La., now offers a new training book entitled “Artwork for DTG Printing.”

Its author, Dane Clement, is considered an expert on computer graphics and color separations for digital direct-to-garment (DTG) printing, textile screen printing, dye sublimation and heat-applied graphics, according to the company.

The 136-page training manual walks readers through every stage of the process, from setting up and creating the design to advanced layout ideas for raster artwork and photographs. It includes step-by-step lessons that demonstrate specifications, techniques and ways to easily create intricate, sophisticated designs.

The book also shows how to create graphics more quickly and output designs that print smoothly with high-quality results, reducing downtime and eliminating the trial-and-error process of perfecting a design while in production.
