GSG Offers Educational Classes in June

GSG, Dallas, which regularly offers monthly classes at its five regional locations, has released its June 2014 schedule. 

The following lineup includes locations and brief descriptions:

June 5-6
Car Wrap 
Houston
Get started in the vehicle wrap market with this two-day class taught by Jeff Wagner, a 3M-certified installer. Topics will include design, choosing materials and surface prep. Day two includes a full-wrap install.  

June 13
Intro To Screen Printing
Dallas
If you are starting up or adding apparel screen printing to your business, this class walks attendees through the process step-by-step. Using a combination of lecture and hands-on training, the instructor will cover film options, screen making, inks, press set-up and registration, printing techniques and troubleshooting.

June 18-19
Intro To Digital Color Management 
Dallas
Representatives from NazDar present this exclusive two-day class that will cover color management, including fundamentals, a review of popular software, calibration, linearization, setting ink limits and more.

June 20
Alternative Lighting
Houston
Learn about new ways to light up sign cabinets in this come-and-go event, which will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. It will cover LED fluorescent lighting options from a variety of major manufacturers, including Principal LED, Sloan LED, USLED, Voltarc and ZLight. Solutions will be discussed for interior, exterior, double-sided lighting and more.
