Hanesbrands Inc., Winston-Salem, N.C., recently announced that Gerald Evans Jr. will stay on as a consultant for a year after he retires as CEO.
According to Hanesbrands, Evans notified the company’s board of directors that he will retire on January 2, 2021, the end of the current fiscal year. The board has already started a comprehensive search process to identify the company’s next CEO with the assistance of Russell Reynolds Associates. — D.S.
