Heat Transfer Warehouse, Fargo, N.D., recently volunteered at the Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity ReStore project.
The Fargo team took part in painting and renovating the ReStore, which is a local home-improvement thrift store offering quality new and gently used building supplies, furniture, appliances and more, with prices ranging from 25%-75% off retail price. ReStore also is a green alternative to disposing of used home-improvement materials.
On average, ReStore keeps more than 1 million pounds of usable materials out of local landfills, instead being used in home-building, remodeling, and creative-arts projects per year, according to the company. All proceeds will support Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity’s mission of building affordable homes. — D.S.
