HIX Corp., Pittsburg, Kan., has redesigned its original mug oven and reintroduced it as the SubliPro 2414.
Based on a completely novel airflow system and engineered to provide even temperature throughout the oven chamber, this new conveyer-belt oven returns a nearly 100% success rate on printed substrates, according to the company.
The oven works in concert with the newly developed HMWII mug wraps. The 24-inch design with cooling module and heat curtains handles volumes up to 150-180 mugs per hour; the 36-inch design handles volumes up to 550-660 mugs per hour.
