Imperial Headwear Acquires Winston Collection to Expand Premium Golf Portfolio

Published: January 23, 2026

BOURBON, Mo. — Imperial Headwear has announced the asset acquisition of Winston Collection, LLC, a premium accessories brand headquartered in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Imperial will continue to operate the business under the Winston Collection name, with the existing management team and operations remaining in place to ensure continuity and brand integrity.

The acquisition expands Imperial’s premium golf portfolio and strengthens its presence within the golf channel, pairing Winston’s craftsmanship and accessory offerings with Imperial’s operational scale, innovation, and global brand reach.

“We’re elated to welcome Winston to the Imperial family,” said Jeremy Davis, CEO of Imperial. “The Winston craftsmanship and dedication to service perfectly align with our go-to-market approach and pursuit of excellence. This acquisition represents an exciting step forward in redefining what premium means in the golf industry—delivering innovative, top-tier products with unmatched speed and a service experience that sets a new standard.”

The partnership reflects a shared vision centered on quality, customer service, and long-term brand growth. It also marks Imperial’s third strategic transaction in four years under CPC ownership, following the acquisitions of Pukka in 2024 and J.T. Spencer in 2022.

“Imperial and Winston share a common philosophy—quality, innovation, and customer-first service,” said David Shaffer, president of Imperial. “By combining our strengths, we’re positioned to deliver even greater value to our customers while expanding our premium accessories offering. We’re excited about the opportunities ahead.”

Blank versions of Imperial Headwear styles are carried by Sportsman Cap & Bag, a Counselor Top 40 supplier, and are sold through distributors nationwide for use in the promotional products industry. To find a distributor, visit sportsmancaps.com.
