Inksoft, Albuquerque, N.M., recently introduced CAPTCHA — a security feature that protects websites against bots — to its online e-commerce platform.
CAPTCHA generates tests that humans can pass, but malicious computer programs cannot, protecting customers’ account registrations against scraping attempts, worms and spam. This feature easily can be turned on or off, as desired.
