Inksoft, Albuquerque, N.M., recently added a mobile image uploader to its Design Studio online designer program.
The upgraded uploader allows customers to directly upload artwork or photographs from mobile devices, such as phones and tablets. Customers also can upload raster images and convert them to use as artwork for screen printing. Once artwork is uploaded, colors can be added or removed to keep pricing in line with the customer’s budget.
Customers can choose from three versions of the new uploader. The complete version is for shops offering screen, direct-to-garment and digital printing. The vector-enhanced version is formatted for vector or raster art, allowing users to modify the raster artwork for screen printing. The third version is vector-only and does not allow customers to upload raster artwork.
