InkSoft Names New Director Of Strategic Alliances

InkSoft, Albuquerque, N.M., recently hired Tom Lawson as its director of strategic alliances.

Lawson has 15 years of experience in the decorated apparel industry and has spent the past seven years as a key member of SanMar’s executive team. Previous to his tenure at SanMar, he served as the Great Lakes regional sales manager for Nike.

His primary responsibilities for InkSoft include building new distribution partnerships, as well as helping to develop strong relationships with the company’s existing and emerging customer base.

“Just like most small-business owners, apparel decorators find themselves so busy at ‘doing the business’ that they have little or no time to devote to developing their business,” Lawson says. “Their original dreams and passions can easily get set aside in order to meet all of today’s deadlines. I know what it’s like. I’ve been a small-business owner and, in fact, an apparel decorator. That part of my career background is what piqued my interest in InkSoft.”
