International Coatings, Cerritos, Calif., will exclusively debut a new set of prints with iconic artwork by David Edward Byrd at the upcoming Imprinted Sportswear Shows (ISS) event in Long Beach, Calif., to be held Jan. 18-20.
Byrd’s work featuring legendary musicians such as Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie and Prince on concert posters will be on display at International Coatings’ booth 949 during the show.
International Coatings is using its AXEON non-PVC inks, such as high-density, glitter and its new Crystal Clear Gel Gloss inks, to capture the detail and vitality of Byrd’s artwork, according to the company.
International Coatings also will host a “Meet & Greet” with Byrd on Jan. 18-19, from 10:30 a.m.-noon and 1:30 p.m.-3 p.m., respectively, at the booth. The artist will unveil his latest work, a contemporary piece slated to benefit two animal rescue centers he is supporting: Pet Finder and Flying Fur Animal Rescue.
