Emerald Expositions LLC, San Juan Capistrano, Calif., recently announced that it will co-locate its Imprinted Sportswear Shows (ISS) event in Atlantic City with Expo East, produced by Promotional Products Association International (PPAI), to be held March 13-15, 2015 at the Atlantic City Convention Center. For more than 35 years, ISS events have been ideal destinations to see the newest technologies, trends and products in the decorated apparel industry. The Atlantic City show features an expo show floor with more than 200 exhibitors in the decorated apparel industry. By co-locating its Atlantic City show with Expo East in 2015, its customers will be exposed to a combined audience of nearly 20,000 qualified buyers.
“We are very excited to be working with the team over at PPAI,” says Jeff Brown, ISS show director. “As the leader in the promotional products industry, PPAI has the perfect mix of buyers and manufacturers represented at Expo East to enhance the experience of everyone participating in ISS Atlantic City. The co-location of ISS Atlantic City and Expo East will be the beginning of what will be the show to attend in the Northeast for all companies in the decorated apparel and promotional products industries.”
Expo East is an East Coast promotional products trade show, the result of a strategic alliance formed between the Specialty Advertising Association of Greater New York (SAAGNY) and the Promotional Products Association International (PPAI). Expo East, along with other PPAI trade show events, attracts more than 16,000 attendees from all 50 states and countries around the world.
“Being associated with the largest trade show serving the decorated apparel industry is a considerable advantage to attendees,” says Darel Cook, PPAI director of expositions. “By making available the best demonstration of technology, embroidery, digitizing and supply services, PPAI is contributing to the success of the overall industry. PPAI has experienced significant growth in membership and interest from decorators, and we will now have the opportunity to serve this important business segment in a very direct way through education and collaboration.”
