Mitch Different Releases Color Separation How-To Book

Veteran industry artist Mitch Different, Katy, Texas, has rereleased his how-to book “The Art of T-Shirt Color Separation” in e-book format, as well as hardback.  

“The Art of T-Shirt Color Separation” is a comprehensive how-to book, offering a hands-on approach to separating artwork using Abobe Photoshop.

It includes the full gamut of separations, including four-color and simulated process, spot colors, creating white underbases for dark shirts, mixing channels with vector graphics, creating halftones without RIP software and more. In addition to the book, all that is required to get started is Adobe Photoshop and a compatible vector program.

The e-book is available in a downloadable PDF format, and the price includes two downloadable copies: one for a computer, and one for an e-book reader or iPad. It also has hyperlinks for downloading working and finished files, which are used to check practice jobs.

It costs $29.99. The hardback edition is $69.99 plus shipping and tax.

Information is presented in a step-by-step format. The book comes with complete, fully illustrated exercises of working files and a DVD loaded with Adobe Photoshop files to be used in the exercises.
