Nazdar SourceOne, Shawnee, Kan., recently announced that Simon Romero has joined its Textile Ink Business Unit (TIBU) as a technical applications specialist.
In this role, Romero will be responsible for conducting product testing, product qualification, application training and technical support with all aspects of the textile garment-printing process. His key area of focus will be working with and supporting textile screen printers to improve customer satisfaction, increase production efficiency and provide new product training.
Romero has more than 25 years of experience in the screen-printing industry. Prior to joining SourceOne, Romero was the sample manager for INX Prints in Irvine, Calif., where he approved all print samples and managed two shifts, as well as assisting the production manager with the screen and ink departments. He also has worked as the director of screen printing development for OCA/Quicksilver.
