Pacific Emblem Co., El Cajon, Calif., will be honoring first responders for the 9/11-20th anniversary with memorial firefighter and police patches.
In January, the company’s president, also known as “Dr. Patch,” designed and sampled a few 9/11-20th anniversary fire and police patch designs. After being shown to local San Diego police and fire departments, a final design was chosen, produced, and made available online.
To help nationwide police and fire departments raise money for their local benevolent and fire/police-house funds, Pacific Emblem created a special DVPP (discount volume purchasing program). Police and fire departments can buy larger volume 9/11 patch orders at lower pricing and resell to fellow officers and firefighters or to the local community to raise funds. Along with this, Pacific Emblem has committed to donate money to their local San Diego firefighters as well as the San Diego Food Bank.
