Promotional Products Education Foundation (PPEF), Irving, Texas, recently announced that the 2014 PPEF scholarship program is now taking applications for the 2014-2015 school year, with $125,000 in scholarships to be awarded.
The scholarship total represents a $25,000 increase compared to previous years, and is in celebration of PPEF’s 25th anniversary. Since its inception in 1989, PPEF has awarded about $1,142,000 in financial assistance.
Funded by Promotional Products Association Intl. (PPAI) and donations from the promotional products industry, the scholarship program enables youth and professionals to continue their education on a collegiate level.
Last year, 68 new and 29 renewal scholars were awarded $100,000 in scholarships. In all, scholarships were awarded to 97 outstanding promotional products industry employees or their children who displayed remarkable academic achievement, extracurricular participation and community service.
The submission deadline for the 2014-2015 scholarship application period is March 15.
