Pulse’s Tsonis Receives Honor for Innovation

Tas Tsonis, co-founder and CEO of Pulse Microsystems Ltd., recently received the 2016 J.W. Graham Medal in Computing & Innovation from the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.

The award honors Tsonis’ achievements, leadership and passion for innovation and the inspiration he has provided to others during his more than 35 years as an entrepreneur in the computer industry.

As co-founder of Pulse Microsystems, which is distributed by Hirsch Solutions Inc., he has created software that has transformed the personalization of apparel and accessories through graphical algorithms, computer science and mathematics, according to the company, and holds 12 U.S. patents.

Tsonis is the 22nd recipient of the medal, which will be presented at the University of Waterloo’s June 17 spring convocation.
