A Roland DGA Corporation customer helped bring a high-profile NFL event to life with large-format wall graphics produced for a San Francisco 49ers pre-Super Bowl gathering.
San Francisco-based VIVAS Inc., led by Roland DG user Luis Vivas, was tasked with creating custom wall graphics for the event, which featured appearances from former 49ers legends, including Joe Montana and Jerry Rice.
The event, held at Lolinda restaurant and Alamo Cinema in San Francisco, also highlighted the release of AMC’s docuseries Rise of the 49ers.
High-Impact Graphics for a High-Profile Event
To meet the demands of the event, VIVAS Inc. produced vibrant, large-format wall graphics designed to enhance the fan experience and reflect the legacy of the 49ers franchise.
The graphics—featuring bold typography and iconic imagery—served as a visual centerpiece within the venue, helping set the tone for the pre-Super Bowl celebration.
Powered by Latex Printing Technology
The project was produced using the Roland DG TrueVIS AP-640 latex printer, paired with TA inks, enabling the team to deliver durable, high-resolution graphics suitable for interior event environments.
Latex printing technology continues to gain traction among decorators and print providers for its ability to produce:
- Vibrant color output
- Durable, scratch-resistant prints
- Low-odor applications ideal for indoor installations
- Fast turnaround times for time-sensitive projects
For shops handling event graphics, retail environments or branded interiors, these capabilities are increasingly critical.
Expanding Opportunities in Event Graphics
Projects like this highlight the growing role of wide-format printing in the decorated apparel and graphics markets, particularly as brands look to create immersive, experience-driven environments.
For decorators, adding or expanding wide-format capabilities can open new revenue streams beyond garments, including:
- Wall graphics
- Event signage
- Retail branding
- Environmental graphics
