Roland DGA Corp., Irvine, Calif., has announced several promotions within its marketing, product management and sales organizations, as well as the appointment of a new marketing director.
Andrew Oransky has been promoted from director to senior director of marketing and product management, and has been added to Roland’s senior management team. In addition to overseeing the Roland DGA marketing and product management teams, he will help coordinate product planning and global marketing with parent company Roland DG.
Joe Dawson, Roland DGA’s senior director of sales, has been promoted to a position on the senior management team. In his new position, he will continue to be responsible for key sales functions across all Roland inkjet devices, vinyl cutters, engravers, and all related supplies and accessories for North and South America.
Grant Davis has been promoted to the position of national accounts manager for Roland DGA. He previously served as the company’s business development manager for UV products. In his new role, Davis will focus on managing, growing and supporting Roland’s key accounts throughout the United States.
Steven Tu has been promoted to the position of product manager, UV printers. In his new position, Tu will be responsible for coordinating new product launches and furthering the success of Roland’s UV products in vertical markets, such as packaging, label printing, and promotional and industrial printing.
Daniel Valade will now serve as Roland DGA’s new product manager for the VersaStudio BN-20 desktop printer/cutter and GX series of cutters.
Finally, Lori Babigian has been appointed to marketing director. She will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all Roland DGA marketing activities, including supervising the company’s marketing communications and creative teams, and coordination between marketing, sales and product management.
