Roland DGA Corp., Irvine, Calif., has introduced a new desktop cutter: the CAMM-1 GS-24. The GS-24 offers increased cutting power and precision, a host of high-performance features and unsurpassed reliability, with a three-year warranty, according to the company.
Its redesigned cutting carriage and blade holder, improved overlap cutting capability and increased downforce allow users to cut a variety of materials from 2 inches to 27.5 inches wide, including thick, dense substrates.
The GS-24 can cut vinyl, paint mask, twill, heat transfers, magnetic materials and card stock at speeds of up to 20 inches per second. With its combined power, speed and accuracy, the GS-24 is ideal for creating high-quality vehicle graphics, signs and decals, decorated apparel, specialty graphics and more, according to the company. Perforated cutting capability also gives users the ability to produce labels and decals.
Additional features include a newly designed LCD panel, a precise blade groove on the cutter’s apron for easy manual cutting and an included roller base that keeps feeds straight.
