Royal Apparel, New York, recently announced an initiative to add more styles of eco-friendly knitwear to its offerings in the marketplace.
The company currently has more than 50 styles in women’s, men’s and children’s apparel, and is expanding its sustainable fabrications with organic cotton, recycled polyethylene terephtalate (rPET), recycled cotton scraps, hemp, bamboo and tri-blends.
Royal Apparel’s stated goal is to help protect the earth by reducing the amount of pesticides, using lees water, reducing its carbon footprint and manufacturing premium fashion styles.
