HanesBrands, Winston-Salem, N.C., recently announced that Scott Somerville has been promoted to general manager of the company’s Branded Printwear division.
Somerville has worked for HanesBrands for more than 21 years, having most recently served as vice president of sales for Branded Printwear. In his new role, he will lead the division’s sales, marketing, product and customer service teams. Somerville replaces John Fryer, who was promoted within HanesBrands to president of Gear for Sports.
In addition, Rachel Newman has been promoted to director of sales. She has worked in the decorated apparel industry for more than 13 years.
