SGIA, Fairfax, Va., will offer a webinar, “Reasonable Testing Programs — The Final Link in the CPSIA Chain,” that will address the most recent CPSIA regulations.
Beginning Feb. 8, periodic testing was required on the continuing production of children’s products. This requirement is in addition to those tests conducted when a children’s product was initially assessed for certification, or when the product was reassessed and certified following a material change.
Marci Kinter, SGIA’s vice president of government and business information, will host the webinar, which is scheduled for May 1 at 2 p.m. In the 60-minute webinar, she will walk participants through the testing program requirements and answer questions about this and other CPSIA topics.
