S&S Activewear, Bolingbook, Ill., recently announced plans to phase out the Americana Sportswear and Eva Sportswear names, and begin operating solely as S&S Activewear this spring.
The brand operated as three separate companies (S&S, Americana and Eva) in 2014, and was co-branded throughout 2015.
“S&S is known as a strong, independent company committed to top-notch service and an unbeatable brand offering,” says Margaret Crow, director of marketing for S&S Activewear. “We want to illustrate the fact that S&S, Americana and Eva have the same values and drive and that we’re all one company together. The best way to communicate that is to share the same name.”
Beginning in March, the company will move to only using the S&S Activewear brand and logo. There also are plans to add a fourth location in the Kansas City area this spring, as well as use a single website. Visitors to the Americana and Eva websites will be redirected to the S&S Activewear website.
The company will continue to be headquartered in Bolingbrook.
